Regular upkeep beats an occasional deep clean
A flat cleaned every week never needs restoring: dust has no time to settle into the skirting, limescale does not build up in the shower, the kitchen never develops a greasy film on the upper units. It is quicker, gentler on materials, and the result is consistent.
Parfanet works in private homes in Geneva and around Lake Geneva with a fixed team. You do not explain twice where the cleaning cupboard is, or that acid products must not touch the natural stone worktop: the person who comes already knows your home.
A proper framework, not an informal arrangement
Undeclared work is common in residential cleaning, and it exposes you: if an accident happens in your home, liability falls on you. Our staff are declared, insured and trained; you receive an invoice, and the team works under the conditions set by the sector agreement.
We supply products and equipment, unless you prefer us to use yours — which is common when a floor or worktop needs a specific product. In that case we follow your instructions, and we tell you frankly if a product you have chosen risks damaging the surface.

3. Adjustment
After the first visit the duration is confirmed or revised — downwards if we overestimated.
4. Settled rhythm
Same team, same slot. You manage nothing further until something changes.

How long does my flat take?
It depends on the surface, the number of bathrooms and the starting condition. A regularly kept 3-room flat usually needs less time than the same flat picked up after several months without upkeep. We estimate a duration at the first conversation, then confirm — or reduce — it after the first real visit.
Is it always the same person?
Yes, that is the principle. In case of illness or holidays, a replacement is briefed on the specifics of your home before coming. We tell you about the change rather than presenting it as a fait accompli.
Do I need to be there?
No. Most of our regular clients give us a key or a code, with a written handover protocol. If you prefer to be present, we agree a slot that suits you.
Is ironing included?
It is not part of routine upkeep. It can be added to the visit if you wish; in that case the ironing time is added, it does not replace the cleaning.
What happens if something is broken?
Our staff carry professional liability cover. An incident is reported the same day, not discovered by you later. We would rather have an awkward conversation than lose your trust.
Do you use eco-friendly products?
By default we use professional products dosed to the strict minimum, which already cuts quantities well below domestic use. If you want only eco-labelled products, that is possible: we will then tell you honestly where (heavy descaling, kitchen degreasing) the result will take more time.
